Christmas markets are one of the loveliest ways to experience the festive season in Malta.
There is something special about wandering through decorated streets, discovering handmade gifts, enjoying local food and watching children become excited by the Christmas atmosphere.
Whether you’re searching for a large attraction with rides, a traditional Maltese Christmas celebration or a quieter market supporting local artisans, here are some places to explore in 2026.
Fairyland – Santa’s City, Valletta and Floriana

Previous editions have featured colourful rides, Santa-themed attractions, festive stalls and seasonal treats.
The organiser has confirmed the dates and locations for 2026, while the detailed attraction programme is still to come.
